Eastern Lightning | Gospel Questions & Answers

Although pastors and elders hold the power in the religious world and they walk the path of the hypocritical Pharisees, we believe in the Lord Jesus, not in pastors and elders, so how can you say that we also walk the path of the Pharisees? Can we really not be saved through believing in God within religion?

Eastern Lightning | Gospel Questions & Answers

Most people in the religious world believe that the pastors and elders have been selected and established by the Lord, and that they all serve the Lord in the religious churches; if we follow and obey the pastors and elders, we are actually obeying and following the Lord. As to what exactly is meant by obeying man and following man, and what exactly is meant by obeying God and following God, most people don’t understand this aspect of the truth, so please fellowship this for us.

Should follow God's footsteps
Answer:
In religion, some people think religious pastors and elders are all chosen and established by the Lord, and therefore we should obey them. Does such a view have a basis in the Bible? Is it evidenced by the word of the Lord? Does it have the testimony of the Holy Spirit and the confirmation of the Holy Spirit’s work?

Eastern Lightning | Gospel Questions & Answers

At that time, when the Lord Jesus came to do His work, the Jewish Pharisees wildly defied and condemned Him and nailed Him to the cross. When Almighty God of the last days comes to do His work, the religious pastors and elders also wildly defy Him and condemn Him, nailing God once again to a cross. Why do the Jewish Pharisees and religious pastors and elders hate the truth so and set themselves against Christ in this way? What exactly is their inherent essence?

nailing God once again to a cross.
Answer:
Everyone that believes in the Lord knows the Pharisees resisted the Lord Jesus, but what was the root and the true essence of their resistance? You can say that in the 2000-year history of religion, no one has figured out the answer to this question.

Eastern Lightning | Gospel Questions & Answers

You testify that the Lord Jesus has already returned as the incarnate Almighty God, who expresses the entire truth that purifies and saves mankind and who does the work of judgment beginning with God’s family, so how should we discern the voice of God and how should we confirm that Almighty God is indeed the returned Lord Jesus?

confirm that Almighty God is indeed the returned Lord Jesus
Answer:
This question is of the utmost importance! To accept God’s work of the last days and behold the appearance of God, we must know how to identify the voice of God. In fact, identifying the voice of God means recognizing the words and utterances of God and recognizing the characteristics of the Creator’s words.

Eastern Lightning | Gospel Questions & Answers

Religious pastors and elders hold to the words of Paul in the Bible: “All scripture is given by inspiration of God,” believing that everything in the Bible is God’s words. But you say that the words of the Bible are not completely the words of God, so what is this all about?

Answer:
To begin with, we need to understand how the Bible took shape, and when it was produced. The original book of the Bible refers to the Old Testament. The Israelites, that is, the Jews, only called the Old Testament the Scripture. And then, in the Age of Grace, the Lord Jesus did a stage of work of redemption.

Eastern Lightning | Gospel Questions & Answers

For two thousand years, man’s belief in the Lord has been based on the Bible, and the coming of the Lord Jesus did not negate the Old Testament Bible. After Almighty God has done His work of judgment in the last days, everyone who accepts Almighty God will focus on eating and drinking the words of Almighty God and will seldom read the Bible anymore. What I would like to pursue is, after one accepts the work of Almighty God in the last days, what exactly is the correct approach one should have to the Bible, and how should one use it? What must one’s belief in God be based on in order for one to walk the path of belief in God and to attain God’s salvation?

Reading God's Word
Answer:
The Bible is a genuine record of the first two stages of God’s work. In other words, it is the testimony of the first two stages of God’s work, which conclude the guidance and redemption of mankind after the creation of the heavens and earth and all things, as well as of mankind.

You testify that the Lord Jesus has already returned as Almighty God, that He expresses the entire truth that will allow people to attain purification and to be saved, and that He is currently doing the work of judgment beginning with God’s house, but we don’t dare accept this. This is because the religious pastors and elders frequently instruct us that all of God’s words and work are recorded in the Bible and there can be no other words or work of God outside of the Bible, and that everything that goes against or beyond the Bible is heresy. We cannot discern this problem, so please can you explain it for us.

Only by accepting the work of the last days can we be saved
Answer:
This kind of viewpoint from the religious community is not based in God’s word; it came about entirely as a result of a misinterpretation of the Bible. The Bible bears witness to the first two stages of God’s work; this is true. However, what is recorded in the Bible is limited, and in that it does not include all of the words God spoke in the two stages of His work and all of the testimony regarding that work.
